President, Mobility & Protection Systems
Dennis M. (Denny) Dellinger is President of the Mobility & Protection Systems line of business of BAE Systems. He previously served as COO of Armor Holdings, Aerospace & Defense Group, since May 2006 when Stewart & Stevenson was acquired by Armor Holdings. Since February 2001, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Stewart & Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems, LP.
Prior to joining Stewart & Stevenson, Denny was Director of Facilities & Site Services with Rolls-Royce Allison in Indianapolis, Indiana. His areas of responsibility included directing all maintenance and construction, the model shop, off shift production, power and utilities, and machine repair and overhaul. Other positions with the company included Director of Production System Engineering, Director of Plant Engineering, and Manager of Industrial Engineering.
Prior to joining Rolls Royce, Denny held numerous managerial positions during a 23-year career with General Motors Corporation. He was responsible for all business administration tasks for the Combat Vehicles Center and served as Manager of Program Planning. Additionally, Denny worked in a wide variety of technical and leadership assignments in the commercial divisions of GM.
Denny attended numerous GM training and professional courses, as well as post-graduate studies at Purdue University in Industrial Engineering. He holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and a Master’s degree in engineering from the University of Detroit. Professional Memberships include NDIA and AUSA.
Denny and his wife, Lyn, live in Katy, Texas. Together they have seven sons and six grandchildren. Denny enjoys reading, Astros baseball, theater, and spending time with his family.
