The company has a comprehensive investor relations programme aimed at providing existing and potential investors with a means of developing their understanding of the company and raising any concerns and issues they may have. The Board as a whole receives regular reports on investor relations matters. In addition, it has been agreed that each year it should formally review investor relations issues with a view to ensuring that all members of the Board are acquainted with any issues or concerns that major shareholders may have. This review will be facilitated by a survey of shareholder opinion undertaken beforehand and the results presented to the Board. The AGM provides shareholders with the opportunity to develop their understanding of the company and ask questions on the matters put to the meeting, including the report and accounts. All shareholders are entitled to vote on the resolutions put to the AGM and, to ensure that all votes are counted, the company’s Articles of Association require that a poll is taken on all the resolutions in the Notice of Meeting. The results of the votes on the resolutions will be published on the company’s website.
