Womenswear collection
LONDON
The more alternative districts of forward-looking cities such as
London offer inspiring ideas where excess becomes the norm and an
austere colour such as black is enriched with a rock spirit when it
alternates with fluorescent colours such as yellow, pink and
turquoise.
Reminiscences of the past are revealed as incredibly up-to-date:
metal details, studs and lurex. Denim, an integral part of the
theme, is bleached, marbled or with localised tears.
The main fits move in the direction of slim, even if often softened
by drapes and pleats created, above all, by jersey fabrics.
COPENHAGEN
Summer spent in a northern European city offers an unusual
atmosphere. Dresses, shirts, and trousers are made in fresh fabrics
and with wide volumes to emphasise the sense of fluidity and
lightness. Washed silk, cotton muslin and linen merge with
yarn-dyed fabrics, embroidered tulle and broderie anglaise to give
a touch of romanticism to clothes. A homage to the birthplace of
the little mermaid characterised by cold colours such as lilac, ice
and many tones of grey.
SOHO N.Y.
The mood of Soho, a chic district of New York, is the true source
of inspiration of this short story in which the sheen of silk is
developed in luxury items with sophisticated colours such as
shocking pink and dove grey.
The graphic patterns follow a romantic line both in the floral
themes and brushstrokes on wrinkled silk. The shiny/matte
combinations play an essential part above all on the dresses,
undisputed key players for this theme.

BOULEVARD HAUSMANN
The wardrobe of the Sisley man becomes a game in which everything
is possible: a formal waistcoat coordinated with plush trousers, a
sports blouson with formal trousers and tailored jackets alongside
satin Bermuda shorts. The theme ends with trench coats with micro
patterns matched with trousers with a relaxed style or shirts with
an easy look.
Each item is made with relaxed fits without neglecting attention to
detail, with the colours of midnight blue, pale pink, earthy grey
and white reflect the moods of the theme.
DETROIT ROCK CITY
Rock and its world for always being yourself, yet in different
ways. A theme with a strong eclectic imprint. Thus tailored cotton
jackets are coordinated with plush shorts, overwear with a military
style is worn over formal trousers in cotton and silk and the
shirts, unique in their mix of fabrics, are embellished with
embroidery with a gothic feel. All this is naturally brought
together by destructured or dark denim with large zips. The graphic
patterns, essential for the t-shirts, are inspired by music icons.
The accents on the colour scale fall on white, pale blue, black,
purple and geranium red.
LA HABANA PANAMA
An imaginary journey among the warm colours of Central America to
discover that lightweight and natural materials are fused with
European taste.
Relaxed and easy fits have suitable colours such as cream white,
beige, powder blue and chocolate brown with touches of coral red or
lime green. The perfect clothes for crossing new boundaries are
found to be shirts in linen/cotton, long and short lightweight
trousers and t-shirts in cotton jersey with botanical prints.
To complete the look we have a scarf in embossed linen or a white
panama hat for protection against the sun.

Accessories and footwear collection
An opulent and sophisticated start to the season is the idea
behind the Sisley collection of accessories for spring 2010.
Longer-length baguettes and shoppers in washed leather with a clean
and elegant design stand alongside the coloured suede of shoppers
with a minimalist style.
When the attention shifts to eco-leather, imagination is given full
power to create geometric weaves for bowling bags in several sizes
or “boule” shapes with a slightly crinkled look.
The summer of Sisley accessories features fabrics with a country
mood. Twisted canvas is the material of choice for duffel and
bowling bags with handles in jute.
The latter is key player in the printed and coated version for a
maxi bag with a vaguely oriental style.
PVC with hologram prints and raffia are the materials used for
shoppers for days on the beach or evenings by the sea. Then there
are the man bags, shoppers in washed and antiqued leather with the
added masculine touch of a maxi decorative zip.
Special attention should be given to the costume jewellery in
jointed metal or the bracelets in wood with studs.
Distinctive items in the footwear range include the wooden clogs
with upper in topstitched suede for women and the sneakers with
upper in coloured satin for men.
