What happens if I lose my share certificate?

The Registrars keep a record of your name, address and the number of shares you own. If your certificates are lost, stolen or destroyed, the registrars can arrange for the issue of replacement certificates. Simply contact the Registrar as soon as you can, quoting your shareholder reference number (SRN) if possible. You will need to request a letter of indemnity. You will need to pay an administration fee and a countersignature fee (which will be dependent on the value of the lost share certificate) in order to receive a replacement certificate.

How do I register the death of a shareholder?

You should contact the registrars with details of any legal documentation.

I have changed my address – who do I notify?

You should contact the registrars and supply them with the following information:

Your name in full, as shown on your share certificates
Your previous address
Your new address
Your shareholder account number if you have one

Please note that the Registrars are unable to accept changes of address notification by email.

How can I send shareholders communications electronically?

Equiniti Limited provide an online service at www.shareview.co.uk that enables shareholders to register electronic communication and receive shareholder mailings by email. Once you have registered with the share portfolio service you can then select your preferred option for company mailings: email or post. You can change your selection at any time by logging on to your Shareview portfolio. If you choose “email”, Equiniti Limited will pass your instruction on to any companies in your portfolio that offer shareholders an email option.

What is the company’s dividend policy?

The Directors intend to adopt a progressive dividend policy, which will reflect the long term earnings and cash flow potential of the Group, while targeting a level of annual dividend cover of 2.5 to 3.0 times, based on underlying earnings.

In the absence of unforeseen circumstances, it is envisaged that interim dividends will be paid in April and final dividends in November of each year.

Can I have my dividends paid as extra shares?

The company does not currently operate a Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

How do I buy or sell shares in Dunelm plc?

If you want to buy more shares or sell shares you already own, this must be done through a stockbroker. The London Stock Exchange provides a “Guide to Share investment Services” which gives a number for companies offering share dealing services. If I am unable to attend the AGM, can I appoint a proxy?

If you are unable to attend the AGM and your shares are registered in your own name, we will send you a proxy form. On the form you should indicate whether you want to vote for or against each of the resolutions due to be decided for the meeting.

Alternatively, you may name someone else to go the meeting and vote for you as your proxy.

If your shares are registered in the name of your nominee, the nominee will receive the proxy form and you will need to contact your nominee to state your intention of attending ahead of the AGM.

How do I send my proxy instructions online?

You are not able to send proxy instructions online at present.

How can I obtain a copy of the annual report?

If you are a registered shareholder you will automatically receive a copy as part of the Annual Report mailing.
