Fortress Expands Senior Investment Team in Germany

Guido Piñol Joins Fortress as Managing Director
New York and Frankfurt , Germany . 16 March 2006 – Fortress Investment Group LLC today announced that Guido Piñol has agreed to join Fortress Investment Group Germany on April 18 as Managing Director. Mr. Piñol will be the head of the commercial real estate acquisitions group and his primary responsibility is to drive the acquisition growth strategy of Eurocastle Investment Limited (Euronext Amsterdam: ECT), a publicly traded Euro based investment company that is one of the largest owners of German commercial real estate. Eurocastle is externally managed by Fortress.

Mr. Piñol has been Managing Director and Head of Investment Advisory Services of CB Richard Ellis Germany and has been with the organization since 2002. Prior to that, he worked since 1999 for the German operations of Jones Lang LaSalle, finally as Head of Portfolio Investment. Mr. Piñol is currently a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
