Non-Executive Directorate Appointment
Hardide plc (AIM:HDD), the provider of unique surface engineering technology, is
pleased to announce the appointment of William Yale Zakroff as a Non-Executive
Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Mr Zakroff has worked as a senior level general management consultant in Houston
since founding the Zakroff Group in 1984. He has worked at the highest levels
for many well-known oil and gas companies and as an independent financial and
strategic advisor. Additionally, Mr Zakroff has provided international business
development and consulting assistance across major industrial sectors including
engineering and construction services, oil and gas equipment and services,
environmental services, industrial machinery, power generation, speciality
materials and water treatment. He has also acted as an investor, and/or
principal on a number of venture capital transactions.
Prior to this, Mr Zakroff joined the General Electric Company in 1978 after
completing an MBA with Distinction at Kellogg Graduate School of Management at
Northwestern University, and a BSc in Chemistry at the University of New Mexico.
Mr Zakroff is also the founder and current CEO of Marinus Power LLC, a private
Houston-based company which develops and finances offshore renewable energy
projects and technologies. Private equity projects that he has previously
undertaken include two rounds of start-up capital for Canyon Offshore and the
MBO of OceanWorks International from Stolt Offshore.
In accordance with Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules, William Yale Zakroff, aged
57, has the following directorships:
