Battle of Britain Memorial Flight

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight was formed in 1973 when an Avro Lancaster joined the Spitfires and Hurricanes of the RAF's Historic Aircraft Flight.  The Memorial Flight displays around the country during the summer as a living memorial to all the airmen who gave their lives during the Second World War.
