The Royal Artillery Museum was first opened in 1820. In May 2001, the collection was moved to new premises within the gates of the historic Royal Arsenal at Woolwich and opened under the new name of 'Firepower - The Museum of the Royal Artillery'. The collection tells the powerful and dramatic story of artillery evolution.
