Completion of acquisition of Aibel AS
Further to the announcement made on 8 July 2009, Hamworthy (AIM:HMY), a world
leader in the design and manufacture of innovative marine, onshore and offshore
fluid handling systems, is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition
of the Technology and Products division of Aibel AS.
This acquisition expands the Group's access to the offshore oil production
market. Aibel Technology & Products provides leading technologies to the
offshore oil & gas market that are used to increase the efficiency of oil
production and ensure the safe handling of cargoes.
