I have moved, who do I need to tell?

If you have moved you need to inform our registrars. You can do this by contacting them at the above address or by downloading the forms from their website www.shareview.co.uk.

It is important to remember that if you own shares in more than one company you will need to inform each registrar involved. Even if the registrar is the same, you will need to tell the registrar of each of the companies that you hold shares in to ensure that all of your records are changed.

A shareholder has died, what should I do?

You will need to contact the registrar. If the shares were held in joint names they will automatically be transferred into the name of the surviving shareholder. Where the shares were held under one name, these may be transferred to another name. The registrars will inform you of any documentation that may be required.

My IMI share certificate has been lost or stolen. What should I do?

If you lose your share certificate, or it has been stolen, you should inform Equiniti Limited immediately. You can do this by calling the 0870 600 3970. A record of the lost share certificate will be made to prevent it being used and a letter of indemnity will be sent to you to sign. This is to protect IMI from the possible misuse of your certificate while it is not in your possession. A replacement share certificate will then be sent to you. There is a charge for this service, so we advise you to keep your share certificate in a safe and secure place.

How do I transfer my IMI shares?

You may decide to transfer some or all of your shares to someone else (for example your partner or other member of your family). To do this, you will need to complete a share transfer form, which is available from Equiniti Limited www.shareview.co.uk. The form should be fully completed and returned with your share certificate(s) (representing at least the number of shares being transferred). Equiniti Limited will then process the transfer and issue a balance share certificate to you if applicable

How do I sell my shares?

Some high street banks provide facilities for buying and selling shares or you can contact a stockbroker

How do I find out how many IMI shares I hold?

You can confirm the number of shares you hold by calling Equiniti Limited on 0870 600 3970. Alternatively, you can check your shareholding by registering on Shareview, which gives you direct access to information on your shares in IMI and other companies for which Equiniti Limited act as registrar.

When does IMI pay dividends?

IMI currently pays dividends twice a year. An interim dividend is normally paid in October and a final dividend is normally paid in May, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM. For more details see the financial calendar.
