Directors' and senior managers' shareholdings 
 
 
In accordance with the Directors' intentions, stated in the Prospectus dated 14 
June 2005, R Hooper, D Mapp and S  Watson took up their rights to subscribe for 
New Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Rights Issue in full and P Rigby, D  
Gilbertson and A Foye disposed of sufficient of their Nil Paid Rights so as to 
enable them to subscribe for their  remaining entitlement of New Ordinary 
Shares. 
 
Following the Rights Issue, the shareholdings of the Directors and Persons 
discharging managerial responsibilities (PDMRs) are as follows:

In addition all subsisting options, including those for directors and persons 
discharged with managerial  responsibility, have been adjusted for the bonus 
element of the rights issue by multiplying the number of options by a  factor of
