Informa Group Plc has acquired Linkraven Ltd for an initial cash consideration of £2.1 million plus a contingent cash consideration of up to £1.8 million based on the profits of the business for the year ending 31st December 1999.

Linkraven publishes two aviation magazines: the fortnightly Commercial Aviation Report and its monthly sister title Commercial Aviation Value Report, both of which are sold on subscription and carry advertising. Linkraven also organises conferences for the aviation and air finance industry. The company is based in Crowborough, Sussex and in Seattle, US.

The acquisition strengthens Informa’s existing presence in the transport and trade sector and it gives the group a flagship title in the aviation market for the first time. It provides a platform for growth in aviation, particularly in the US, where Linkraven has a strong customer base.
