Kentz awarded second Gorgon contract worth AUS$150 million

London, 21 August 2009 - Kentz Corporation Limited (LSE: KENZ), the holding
company of the Kentz engineering and construction group, through its Australian
arm Kentz (pty) Ltd, has been awarded a telecommunications package by Chevron
Australia Pty Ltd for the Gorgon Project in Western Australia.

The contract value is approximately AUS$150 million (or approximately US$125
million) and includes the design, supply, installation, testing and
commissioning of the telecommunications scope on Barrow Island.

Final investment decision on the Chevron operated Gorgon Project, from the
Gorgon Joint Venture participants, is expected in the second half of 2009. Work
on Barrow Island is expected to commence after receipt of all the necessary
government approvals.

The remoteness of the project site calls for the use of state-of-the-art
telecommunications technology, including converged IP networks for multiple data
streams, satellite data communications, navigational aids including radar and
vessel tracking, meteorological and oceanographic systems, site wide WAN/LAN
with network management, central fire and security monitoring, and data
transmission on both fiber optic and microwave.

Dr. Hugh O'Donnell chief executive of Kentz commented: "This turnkey
telecommunications project draws upon a number of Kentz's skill sets, not only
from an engineering, design and systems integration perspective but also
delivering remote site installation and commissioning."

This contract is the second for Kentz, which in June, along with its Australian
partners Decmil Pty Ltd and Thiess Pty Ltd (TDKJV), was contracted to design and
construct the construction village on Barrow Island for Chevron.

Kentz has been working on projects in Western Australia for more than 20 years
supplying services to most of the major oil and gas developments. It currently
employs approximately 200 Australian staff, through its construction arm Thiess
Kentz, on a number of projects across Australia.
