- To Zoom in:
Left click and drag over the date range that you would like to select.
- To Zoom out:
Right click anywhere on the chart

Date ranges
- To use a pre-set date range:
Select a date range from the drop down menu.
- To use a custom date range:
Enter start and end dates into the boxes provided using the format dd/mm/yyyy
then click Draw

Setting comparators
If you want to compare the performance of a stock against indices or peers,
click on the settings button |

To select a particular RIC, click on the relevant group (where applicable
- some installations do not use this feature). Then choose the desired RIC
from the list shown.
Once all desired RIC's have been selected, you may set a date range as before
or simply click the draw button.
Quotes are shown either as a Reuters Instrument Code or using a more user-friendly
alias. |

| Detaching |

The chart is fully detachable from its surrounding page. This can be useful
if you want more detail.
Simply click the detach button: |

| You can size the window as if it were a normal browser. To put the chart
back, simply close the window in the usual way. |

| Hints and Tips! |
| |
The left-hand y-axis gives relative values in %. The calculation method
is one of % change based on an "index" value set to 0.00 on the first day
of the selected date range.
The y-axis gives the absolute value of the first selected RIC.
Look out for the status bar under the chart. A mouse-over on any point on
one of the lines will give you the price and volume details for that point.
It also shows useful hints on how to use the chart facility to its best.
The smaller chart below the primary interactive chart shows the volume of
shares traded for the primary (first selected) stock. |
