National Express East Anglia has announced plans to increase train service frequency on Sundays on the London Liverpool Street to Chingford, Enfield Town and Hertford East routes in the winter 2009 timetable to be implemented on 13 December 2009.
From the start of the winter timetable, Sunday services between Liverpool Street and Chingford will be increased to run to a 15 minute frequency throughout the day. Currently, Sunday services run every 15 minutes only until 19.00 when the service changes to a 30 minute frequency for the rest of the evening.
On the Enfield Town and Hertford East lines, Sunday services between Liverpool Street and Enfield Town, and Liverpool Street and Hertford East will be increased to run to a 30 minute frequency throughout the day. Currently, Sunday services run every 30 minutes only until 18.30 when the service changes to an hourly frequency for the rest of the evening.
Other improvements in the winter timetable include the introduction of an additional late evening service on Tuesdays to Saturdays from Hertford East to London Liverpool Street departing Hertford East at 00.07.
Commenting on the December timetable improvements, Andrew Chivers, Managing Director National Express East Anglia said:

Extending the frequency of services on Sundays will provide our customers with a consistent pattern of service throughout the day and a greater choice of trains, and I hope this positive move will encourage more people to consider taking the train.”
