Announcement regarding dealing in shares  
  
This notification is made in accordance with DR 3.1.4R(1)(a).    
  
On 5 August 2009 Mr A G Calder exercised options granted to him under the 
Company's Executive Share Option Scheme ("the ESOS") over 673,280 ordinary 
shares of 1p in the Company at the following exercise prices:  
  
321,010 shares at £0.747 per share  
  
136,550 shares at £1.104 per share  
  
215,720 shares at £1.298 per share  
  
He subsequently sold 673,280 shares to the Paterson Zochonis Employee Trust 
("the Trust") on 5 August for a consideration of £2.35 per share. Mr Calder is 
Deputy Chairman of the Company and moved recently to a part-time role. The 
Company was informed by Mr Calder of this dealing on 5 August.  
  
On 5 August Mr C How exercised options granted to him under the ESOS over 57,780 
ordinary shares of 1p in the Company at an exercise price of £1.298p per share. 
On the same day, he sold 57,780 shares for a consideration of £2.36 per share. 
The Company was informed by Mr How of this dealing on 5 August.    
  
The Trust is a discretionary trust under which the class of beneficiaries who 
may benefit comprises all bona fide employees and former employees of the 
Company and its subsidiaries including members of such employees' and former 
employees' immediate families. Accordingly, the Executive Directors and PDMRs of 
the Company are included in the class of beneficiaries and are deemed to have an 
interest in all of such shares. The Trust's holding in the ordinary shares of 1p 
in the Company is 1,509,415 shares (0.35%).   
  
No new shares have been issued in respect of any of the dealings above.
