PZ Cussons Plc announces that on 14 August 2009 the following awards of ordinary 
shares in the Company were made to Executive Directors and other Persons 
Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMRs") under the terms of the PZ 
Cussons Deferred Annual Share Bonus Scheme ("the Scheme"):-

Senior executives, including the Executive Directors and PDMRs listed above, are 
eligible to participate in the Scheme, pursuant to which they may earn an annual 
bonus linked to financial performance targets. Bonus awards are payable 50% in 
cash and 50% in deferred shares. The awards set out above relate to deferred 
shares awarded as a result of the attainment of performance targets for the year 
ended 31 May 2009.   
  
The deferred shares will normally be transferred to the Executive Directors and 
PDMRs from the Paterson Zochonis Employee Trust in three years' time, provided 
that they remain an employee of a PZ Cussons Plc group company.
