HIV/AIDS policies and strategy

The purpose of our HIV/AIDS policy is to ensure a consistent and equitable approach to the prevention of HIV/AIDS among employees and their families, and to the management of the consequences of HIV/AIDS, including the care and support of employees living with the disease.

We believe that a healthy workforce contributes to business success. And we are committed to devoting significant resources towards protecting the health and wellbeing of employees in the workplace.

The QMM HIV/AIDS strategy is founded on four key elements:

• Prevention, awareness and education
• Voluntary counselling and testing (VCT)
• Wellness and treatment
• Monitoring and evaluation of service provision
