Biodiversity programme

Our programme's main objective is to achieve a net positive impact on biological diversity (biodiversity). We work with local people and in partnership with local, regional, national and international organisations. Individual agreements have been negotiated with local communities for the management of the region's natural resources DINA. We set aside conservation zones from the mining deposit. The zones are included in Madagascar’s protected areas network (SAPM: Systeme des Aires Protegees de Madagascar). These zones are in addition to our existing extensive commitments under our environmental management plan negotiated with the Malagasy Government.
