Project status

The construction phase of the project began in early 2006 and is expected to last three years. The construction phase is itself divided into three stages:

• Pioneering works
• Mobilisation
• Long term construction

Pioneering works include pre-mobilisation activities and the rehabilitation of national roads RN12a and RN13.
