Fixed/Floating Rate Perpetual Reset Capital Securities (XS0235245205) (the "Notes") announces that as previously notified to bondholders on 7 April a meeting of bondholders is being held at 12.15pm today at which the Issuer proposes to discuss with bondholders: (i)the deferral of the coupon due on the Notes announced by the Issuer on 25 March 2009 (RNS Number: 2866P) and the consequential effects in relation to capital restrictions and the Alternative Coupon Satisfaction Mechanism (as defined in Condition 6 of the terms and conditions of the Notes); and (ii)the Issuer's position, and the consequential ranking of the Notes, in the Issuer's Group.
