Spiritel plc (AIM: STP), the telecommunications company, announces that John
Vergopoulos, a Non-Executive Director and co-founder of the Company, has decided
to step down from the Company's Board on 31 October 2006 to focus on his other
business activities.
Lord St John of Bletso, Spiritel's Chairman, said: "I would like to take this
opportunity to thank John for his important contribution to the early
development of Spiritel and to wish him every success with his other business
interests."
