Appointment of Deputy Chairman
Spiritel plc (AIM: STP), the telecommunications company, is pleased to announce
that Steven Maine, a Non-Executive Director of the Company and a former Chief
Executive of Kingston Communications plc, has been appointed as the Company's
Deputy Chairman, a non-executive position.
Mr Maine joined Spiritel's Board in April 2006. His vast experience of the
telecoms and media sectors has been of considerable value to the Company's Board
and to the development of the Company.
Commenting, Lord St John of Bletso, Spiritel's Chairman, said: "Since his
appointment to Spiritel's Board earlier this year, Steven Maine has made a very
significant contribution to the Company's development. His combination of
experience, judgment and vision make him ideally place to add further value to
the Company in the position of Deputy Chairman."
There is no new information to be disclosed under schedule 2(g) of the AIM
Rules.
