Grant of Options
Spiritel plc (AIM: STP), the telecommunications company, announces the following
award of options over the Company's ordinary shares of 1p each.

In addition there is a grant of options, also at an exercise price of 3p, to
staff in respect of 9,916,666 ordinary shares.
The grants will be made under the Spiritel Plc Share Option Scheme or the
Company's Enterprise Management Incentive Scheme. The options will vest as to 50
per cent of the granted amounts on the first anniversary of the date of grant
and as to the remainder on the second anniversary of the date of grant.
Following this grant, the total number of options and warrants in issue is
33,522,501, representing 14.4 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of
233,333,646.
