BOARD APPOINTMENT
Former Carphone Warehouse Commercial Director appointed to Spiritel Board
David Anahory Managing Director of Spiritel Business
Spiritel plc (AIM: STP), the telecommunications services business, today
announces that David Anahory (33), recently appointed Managing Director of
Spiritel's Business Division, has joined the Board of the Company, with
immediate effect.
David took up the position of Managing Director of Spiritel Business in November
2007. He joins the Company with a wealth of large and small telecommunications
services experience. Some of his previous senior roles have been with AT&T,
Telco Global and Econophone. Prior to joining Spiritel, David was a Commercial
Director at Carphone Warehouse where he was responsible for the provision of
communications services to over 100,000 business customers within Carphone
Warehouse's Business Division. David previously headed up Onetel's Business
division, which was acquired by Carphone Warehouse in 2005.
Commenting on the appointment, Alastair Mills, Chief Executive of Spiritel said:

phase of rapid expansion for the Group, David's experience in providing a range
of converged communications services to business customers will be of
considerable value. Spiritel acquired four businesses during 2006/07 and David

essential to Spiritel as we continue to grow our market share as a complete
communications service provider. I am delighted to welcome him to the Board."
David Anahory's former forename was Aharon.
